Collectively they employ approximately 700,000 people, about half of all tech sector jobs in the UK. These companies range from leading FTSE 100 companies to new innovative start-ups. The majority of our members are small and medium-sized businesses.
The techUK Electronics Manufacturing and Design (EMD) Forum at techUK is made up of companies in the UK who manufacture electronic systems or subsystems, modules or components, or who are involved in the supply chain for electronic systems designed in the UK. The aim of the group is to identify and drive the market forward by facilitating networking and discussions that can result in the uptake of innovative products, solutions and services and by organising high-quality technical and business seminars around the core themes of interest to the EMD Forum.
